Call of duty MW3 review

Hi there guys, I apologize for not making any posts recently but, you might as well know that us geeks over here at DBG are working on a youtube channel and hopefully, a website.

Anyways, I'm gonna do a review on a little gem known only as ''Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3''!
In this review, I'm gonna be aiming specifically towards the wii version since the Wii is at the end of it's lifespan and I wanna give it a little something as a farewell.

So the game starts off with a little opening scene that really makes me want to get right into the adventure! So I'll just head off to the campaign straight away and save the multiplayer for later. Ok so now we're starting the game right where MW2 left off (isn't that convenient). Apparently, the man responsible for the disastrous nuke that ended MW2 is known only as Makarov so of course, it's your job to kill that Little shizzlefrizzle. Though honestly, I would like it more if our main enemy had more of a backstory. In my opinion, when a character just gets droppes into a game and you don't know anything about said person, it just removes you from the atmosphere. This game has your standard shooter stuff, aim, shoot, shoot some more, reload, etc. etc. The controls don't really stand out as anything special but you still play and Call of Duty still feels right. Though in the end of the campaign, it didn't really leave anything special like MW2. But whatever, C.O.D's always been more about the multiplayer hasn't it? So let's see, what class do i want? What gun do I want? what kinf of match do I want? That may all sound a bit like complaining, but actually,this is a good thing. having a lot more stuff to do on an FPS is definetly a good thing since there will be more time to experiment and have fun with it. My favorite mode is Spec Ops. In this mode, you run around in circles and kill as many enemies that appear. Now I know what you're going to say, "but that's just a carbon copy of Zombies this isn't that good!" Well, you're wrong, you can call in air support to help you defeat your opponents, and you can buy a crapload more stuff than any Zombies game. Now comes the thing that sticks out in a negative way. The graphics. now let me just say, the graphics on any Wii game are gonna be horibble. So, I'm not even gonna bother.


My final decision on this game is a 8 on 10 and a badass seal of approval.

Tribes Acsend PC Review

(please don't criticize me on the fact that I don't like blood in games)

The story

Well sadly there is no story in this game wich kinda sucks cause it would make the game a lot better from what it already is.

The visuals

The visuals in this game are decent but the best part is that even if you have maximum settings on you will not lag1 I know total awesomness!

The gameplay

This game really does well on the gameplay and heres why 1) the controls are simple and easyto play with and 2) they introduced this new technique to move called skiing wich makes you able to travel the map at crazy speeds.

The verdict

This game is deffinitly my best first person shooter ever! because the gameplay rocks there is no lag and theres no blood! Total awesomness! 8/10

Counter Review: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Hi there guys, do you know what time it is? Oh yeah it's time for a counter review!!!! So today's topic, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Yeah, I'm sure some people saw Nicolasdiscool's review on smash bros, so i'm here to show you the light and show Nico that he's wrong! Dead Wrong! I literally started twitching in anger. Now that that's cleared up here we go!!

As soon as you pop that disc in, you know that this game is for real, I mean, listen to that MUSiC

Brawl has more characters, fluid gameplay, sharp graphics, I mean a warioware level... Fantastic! New and innovative enemies.... Fine by me! Solid Snake.... Godly!

The original review said that there wasn't much to talk about in the game and that is a load of bull$%"$! Brawl has just about the most content in any game I've ever seen there's the training room, the minigames (4) and then there's online free-for-all mode boss battles, five difficulty settings and more. It's clear that they put everything into this project. There was so many investers that got their moneys worth. And if you're gonna say that it doesn't have anything good to it, Well frankly, you're missing out and shoving a spear into your eyes I can't tell you how many hundreds of hours I've spent trying to master all 40 characters. It's also a very replayable everything is well explained without the characters even saying anything, that's how well the cutscenes are made. So Nicolasdiscool, if you ever even try to denounce this game... I'll hunt you down and rape your chickens.

Block Warfare: Zombies Review

The story

There is no story in this game other than kill all the zombies that spawn until you run out of ammo then you can run around like a lunatic and try not to get eaten.

The visuals

this game was made by the same people that made block warfare operations so youcan expect it to work about the same way well yeah same old blocky graphics.


The gameplay

The gameplay of this plays just like operations one shoot button one aim button and one pause button but they did add some new features for example when you  kill a zombie you get 10 credits wich you can use to buy new weapons like snipers or whatever.

The verdict

This game was fun until I got the best gun wich is way too O.P so still good but does not stand the test of time. 6/10

The Blockheads review.

Why hello ther fine sir, today I, the EpicGuyGamer shall review a less known recreational game named The Blockhea.... Alright stop this crap......

Ok so from what you can tell from that horrible little skit above, I'm gonna do a review for a free Game off the appstore Known as The Blockheads. It's a side scrolling game.The visuals are extremely well done for the iPod, iPhone, iPad and so on. The gameplay isn't exactly Minecraft or Terraria quality but, they are quite good. It has a Sims like aspect. With survival as the number one priority. If you die, you can probably kiss everything you made in that world goodbye. The game is a bit of a complicated thing when you first start off, but, once you get a hang of it, it becomes a lot like minecraft where you can do everything automatically.

You predetermine everything you want your little character will do while he's working so you can turn off your device while he/she works. Though the characters will do the bear minimum that you tell them so sometimes, you get a little dissapointed with their work, and then I kill them!! I haven't really played it that much yet so I can't judge it in it's entirety but i feel like i should highlight that you can freeview and explore your world while the slaves do the work. You can also find some mobs like Dodos and sharks, fish, and other stuff. Well I'm kinda running out of things to say, so I'll have to update this review later, Though for the meantime, the game gets an 8/10 and a badass Seal of approval from the one and only EpicGuyGames guy

My personal top 5 worst video game levels

Howdy there, I reckon y'all are thinkin' I'm gonna do something with my badass seals and what not. But I think that I must do something Different. I know that the other guys ''Except for that lazy idiot named Wickeddxude.'' did a top ten on games, but since I prefer standing out from the rest of 'em, I figure I'll do the top 5 worst levels i've ever played in any video game ever. So, without further ado, let's get going

Number 5:   All legend of Zelda Water Temples.

I know that this is a bit of a stretch, but all water temples from Zelda have sloppy controls and horrible level designs. Even if you do get though all that bull$*!t, the items you get are usually horrible. Example, Ocarina of time, you get a ''longshot'' which is nothing more than an upgrade to a previously attained item ''the hookshot.'' If you still don't think theyse temples are that bad, let me tell you this, YOU CAN UPGRADE ANY OF YOUR ITEMS IN SKYLOFT IN SKYWARD SWORD.

Number 4:   Rainbow road SNES (Mario Kart 7

Many gamers Think of rainbow road as a glue that holds all Mario Kart games together. So what a better thing to do than bring an old, challenging and most of all, frustrating level back from the SNES and put it into the most recent Mario Kart title to make it better. Oh yeah the hopes were high and I tell you, I was ready to play it, beat it, and most of all love it. Well let me tell you, it didn't work! Yeah, the second rainbow road from Mario Kart 7 is slippery, uninspired and most of all, ugly and a lazy excuse for a level. So that's why you can take it to your backyard and end the peoblem with your grandpa's old army gun. 

Number 3: Vs Lou (Guitar hero: Legends of rock) or something like that...

Ahhh Guitar Hero, what a fun game that let's you enjoy music and still be cooperative with your friends. The guitar hero 3 final battle with Lou is just a piece of crap battle that's super hard and unfair. Playing against him made me wanna puke all over everything! He's extremely hard and if you slip up, Boom! He can come out of nowhere with this crazy solo that's a loss for you and there's nothing you can do about it. If that wasn't enough, his design is beyind stupid and simplistic. And that ladies and gentlemen... is why I like peanut butter.

Number 2:   The Stampede: King Kong the Game

King Kong oh yeah. A wonderful movie that could only be turned into a wonderfl game right? well lemme tell you, some of these levels are just horrible. Some of them are littered with unfair difficulty spikes, cardboard NPC's and most of all, backtracking. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I personnaly hate backtracking. I don't know if it's because I'm impatient, but when I clear an area, I don't wanna go back. You may feel differently, but this is my list, you lose. Getting back on track, our biggest offender to these... sins of gaming is a level only known as ''The Stampede''. what happens is, you come to a part where there are some thornbushes blocking your path so you have to go and get some fire to burn them down.  The only problem is, that fire is about a mile away and then Velociraptors come in packs to take you down. To add onto that, you barely have any ammo by the time you get here and you have the second worst gun in the game. So, if ever you play King Kong and get to this level, use a cheat code and skip it.

Number 1:    The dark queen: sonic the hedgehog: the black knight.

First of all, let me tell you that the bpss battles in this game are organized as entire levels, so that's why Merlina qualifies. So the story behind Merlina is stupid and simplitic. she's a witch that turns on you at the last second to make the kingdom everlasting. But, that's not the point, the point is that it's a terrible level. It starts off with you deflecting BUBBLES with the sacred sword Excalibur which isn't even a challenge 'cause all you need to do is swing the remote like a chimpanzee, and then, you advance to deflect her swird with super easy quicktime events which I hate. At that point, you have enough power to use your special attack thing which you can time to get perfects, build up your power meter... And then have her knock you away and drain your power completely. Repeat that a few times and then you have the final boss from Sonic and the black knight.                                  

All the levels above are deserving of Sucky seals

Spider-Man 3 PC Review

(Now for starters let me tell you that even if it was in my top ten it doen't mean that it'll be a good game)
The Story

There is basically no story in this game since all you do is pick a mission from the city map then go to it see a cut scene get your objectives and then beat up ennemies and maybe find some bosses along the way.

The visuals

The graphics in this game are actually pretty good for 2007 and I could usually find myself staring at the beuaty that is the empire state biulding.

The Gameplay

I actually enjoyed the combat a lot in this game you would always unlock new combos, and there are two different suits with there own combat style 1) The black suit: Bash through everything like a tank and 2) the red suit: defeat ennemies in a very agile and fancy way.

The verdict

Now this game was very enjoyable when I was young and obsessed with spider-man (even though I still am) i'm still giving it a bad note for you proffesional gamers 4/10

Counter Review Star wars The force unleashed

Alright guys it's time to get serious (and by serious I mean halfway less stupid). I'm sure that some of you guys read Remam4's review on star wars the force unleashed. Yeah he gave it 9 on 10!! Look it's an average at best game. I feel that he wasn't very honest with you guys, so I the EpicGuyGames guy shall rereview it and show you the light. Oh and just a shoutout, Remam, cheat codes are not a selling point in a game ever.


First off, the game can't be judged on it's story. Any credit for that goes straight to the people who wrote the book not those who turned it into a video game. The gameplay is in fact quite enjoyable BUT... you never really use your force powers since the lightsaber absorbs all bullets coming your way. Which is a shame since the force powers are really well done and that was clearly the best part of the gameplay. One little problem though... if you're not using them the force is useless. There are also these completely unfair difficulty spikes spread throughout the game. Some of the boss battles are extremely repetitive. and offer little to no redemption. But this review is getting to negative. The graphics are beautifully crafted for the Wii and the Xbox. The multiplayer is fun and you get a lot of cool characters but all that is worthless if you don't have anybody to play with. The levels are well designed yeah all ten of 'em. you heard me right there are only like ten levels and then the game becomes much more repetitive with it only being kill enemies, walk, kill enemies, reach the boss.

alright this game doesn't deserve a Badass seal and it doesn't deserve a sucky one so i'm making a new one.

The Nintendo seal not sucky, not great, just Nintendo         7\10

Block warfare operations review

The story

The story in this game really dissapointed me because it said on the download page call of duty parody so I downlaoded it thinking that it would be cool well no.

The visuals

The visuals in this game remember me a lot of minecraft not for its horrible graphics but for its blocky and destroyable landscape pretty cool stuff.

The gameplay

Now this plays on 4 simple buttons 1) shoot 2) aim 3) reload 4) pause the game really simple but too simple and not very fun.

The verdict

Since this game was my first FPS I'm giving it a good note because I really enjoyed myself playing it, but proffessinally don't play this game. 5/10

YouTube channel review: Julian Gamebender

Hi there this is EpicGameGuy, as you know, I've done two reviews on video games so far so I figure it's about time that I do something else. So what shall I do? Well i think that I'll do a YouTube channel review. Why? Because I feel like it God flapjacks Dangit!

Just to be clear, Julian Gamebender and YouTube are not affiliated with me and I think that you should always Give channels the benefit of doubt and not take my opinion that seriously (disregard that disclaimer)

Julian Gamebender usually does Minecraft videos or the occasionnal visitor like Spore. So before you click on his videos, you realize that the average video is about 10-20 minutes long. A pretty good length if I do say so myself. Anyways, I can't tell if he edited or not but the screenshots are pretty well done. The first video (which you can see at the bottom of this review) Is about a Brawl server on Mincraft. The voice in his videos is a little hard to understand but I can usually forgive it. The one thing that really bugs me about his vids is that he's one of those people who releases videos like nobody's business so there's no sound editing or different clips which makes it really boring or lackluster in most cases.
The variety is good but sometimes, everything looks out of place or there aren't any sequels to the videos you really liked. The best thing about these videos is probably how well he plays, the games he chooses and if you can understand he is pretty funny at times. Though all that is fine and great, too late the damage is done.

I really would love to start my YouTube reviews positively but with a sad heart, I have to give Julian a 5\10 and not a sucky seal but more of a ''Needs more time put into it'' seal.

Monster Trucks offroad

Hullo there loyal viewers, this is EGG and today, I'd like to share a little known Wii title known only as ''Monster trux offroad''. I tell you, there is nothing that will ever prepare you for this, Except maybe another notoriously horrible game known as ''Superman 64''

So first of all, you are greeted by this track that gets extremely annoying after about two seconds and i'm telling all, It loops the same few notes over and over, I honestly think that songs from the original Zelda was better than this. Ok which car do I want, the one with skulls or the one with flames, There is seriously no difference other than colors. No stats or anything. Whatever.

Alright so three... Two... One Go! Geez this thing controls even worse than Sonic Free Riders. Lemme tell you what i mean. The controls are really sensitive and if that wasn't enough, you have to thrust the wiimote forward to use nitrous, and guess what, when you do that you fly across the screen and slam into a wall.  That's if you even do make it to that point, you're gonna spend half the race fighting with the other 7 competiters and completely destroy you're truck.

You know, I can't do this alone, So i decided to torture my brother and play the multiplayer, fun right? Wrong! first off, Now you only have to fight with two other competitors and if player two wins, you can't complete the tournament and move on so usually you're using player two as a bodyguard and whenever someone comes player 2 gets him while the other one goes ahead.If all this wasn't enough, there isn't any music at all while playing and you get stuck listening to your motor hum and bore yourself to death,


You know what, I'm not gonna justify it anymore, 2 on 10. And it gets an official Sucky seal from me, The EpicGuyGames

Kid Icarus: Uprising

Hi there y'all. as promised I shall now write a review on Kid Icarus Uprising. You don't know how happy I was when this game first came out, I played the first games off the WiiWare shop and you know what, they're great! no they're legendary. So since I already ran out of things to say, here we go!

The Game starts off real nice, the presentation is appealing and the sound effects are dead on, pretty cool 3ds. So I think I'll just jump right into the campaign shall we. So from what I can tell, the story here is that Medusa (Queen of the Underworld) has been ressurected and so the only logical thing to do is send one angel against the Queen of the most feared place known to man... yeah okay. So one of the things that really stands out to me so far is that you have these lovely shooter sections, Though the controls are a little shaky I can forgive them for now. The enemies are well animated and desogned and Dagnabbit even the voice acter for Lady Palutena is pretty well done. Alright, time for the part that we've all been waiting for, Mowing down baddies with dozens of weapons like it was your god Damned birth right! Holy crap pit controls like he's drunk or something. I mean look, to turn around you either have to stop moving or stop shooting and then use the stylus to turn around. I know this doesn't sound so bad but this poor control scheme is really hard to deal with especially during heated battles, and even though the controls can be changed to your liking the damage is done. Well I am being way to negative for a game this fun. I mean look at these bosses. Badass to say the least. Ok that's about as much of the story that i'll cover for now so let's head over to the multiplayer.

Pew Pew bam Die haha!!! That was me playing Multiplayer, did I sound happy? yes! 'scause I was! this is beautifully done, the maps are each unique and depending on your type of weapon a new strategy. The game even automatches you with bots well which i didn't even think was possible.

You know this game is so good I shall cut this review short so I can go play.   This game gets A 9/10 And a EpicGameGuy Badass seal of approval

Hey Guys i', new around these here parts of the net so let me introduce myself. I go by EpicGuyGames and I review video games, youtube channels, Videos, Movies and more. Runescape Review

The story

this game does not really have a story other than go adventure around the world, do quests and kill monsters but it did not take away from the game experience.


The visuals

The visuals in this game (no offense) suck even if you put them on HD it dosen't have good graphics so it does leave something to be desired.


The gameplay

The gameplay in this game is not like any RPG I have ever seen it is very easy and interesting it even though there is no clue on how to get better armor and the name of items but its like mincraft you gt used to it pretty quicly.

The verdict

This is the second best RPG I ever played in my life and the most popular free MMORPG of all time  so it is pretty good and deserves a good 8,5/10.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 Review

The story

The Story in this game was very interesting as you travel from planet to planet in quest to save your true love you found characters from the old game that help you in your travels.


The visuals

The visuals were less better in this game than in the older game so that was a bit dissapointing exept for some cutscenes that were really high graphiced so it does leave a bit to be desired.


The gameplay

The gameplay was different in a bad way in this game instead of holding a button to shoot your lightning you hold a button and shake the remote.


The verdict

This game was very disssapointing in all ways exept for the story and tha's why I'm giving it a 5/10.

Star Wars Battlefront Review

The story

I have to say I was dissapointed that there was basically no story in star wars battlefront other than go crush the rebels and so on this really takes off a good game like this one.


The visuals

The visuals are not the best but are still decent for a game like this one and don't really matter since the animations are pretty good


The gameplay

The playability of this game is like any shooter really click to shoot and so on though its nice that you can switch between granades and drones


The Verdict

This is a very enjoyable shooter if your a Star Wars fan or just looking for a good game really worth it. 7/10

Prince of Persia the Forgotten Sands Wii review

The story

The story in this actually kind of surprised me because it is boring! you keep on hearing the same thing over and over again making it really hard to enjoy the beaty of a prince of persia game.


The visuals

The visuals are decent for the wii but are definitly not the best I have ever seen the eyes have no color and the faces don't animate when people talk.

The gameplay

The gameplay is actullay decent and fun and easy to use, it is probably the only that kept me playing this game.

The verdict

even though the gameplay is very interesting the story and the visuals suck so her's my rating. 4/10

Star Wars the Old Republic Review

The Story


this game isan MMORPG so you might have guessed that every single class has their own story line but I tested them all and the best is probably the jedi counselor or sith inquisitor but they are all great and have tons of plot twists and cliffhangers wich makes every class very enjoyable.

The visuals

The visuals are not the best I have ever seen but they are good enough so that you can see expressions.

The Gameplay

The gameplay resembles any basic RPG you kill stuff to level up and go see yout trainer to upgrade get new skills but the story really is what kept me playing.

The verdict

This is probably the best RPG I have ever played in my whole life and everything is voice acted thank you bioware for making another great game. 9,5/10

Asphalt 7 heat review

This game is a 3rd person racing game where as usuale you try to get into 1st place but its not just normal racing there are diferent challenges like elimination races and takedown races. There is a multiplayer and you dont need wi fi just bluetooth and if you havnt guessed yet this game is for the ipod, iphon etc. The graphics are amazing like nothing ive ever seen before. There are power ups in the game like nitro and money. If you liked this review leave a coment also leave a coment of what game we should review next. My rating

Star Wars the Force Unleashed Review

The Story

In the Wii version at least you play starkiller dark vader's secret apprentice in a quest kill all the rebels and gain full control over the galaxy but in your travels you find a family secret that might change the outcome of the war...

The Gameplay

the gamplay is very simple and easy to use wich makes the game very enjoyable.

The Visuals

The visuals in this game are not the best I have ever seen but are pretty good for a Wii game.

The Verdict

This is deffinitly one of my favorite with all the content costumes and cheats this game deserves a good 9/10.

Mario & luigi bowser inside story review

This games story is that there is a toad desese going around the mushroom kingdom so Mario and Luigi must help figure out whats causing the diesese and stop it when Bowser shows up you must defeat him so he gets sent into the forest after he is defeated and he eats a weird mushroom from a stranger so when Bowser gets back to the castle he sucks everyone at the meeting into his body now you must find the princesse and find a cure to the toad desese.

This game is a platform and adventure game with lots of puzzles to solve, bosses to beat and technices for Mario and Luigi to learn also this game is for kids 10+. The graphics arnt bad but could use a little work overall this is a fun game. Leave a coment if you liked this review and for wich game to review next. My rating

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Limited Edition Review

The Story

sadly there is no story in this need for speed wich kind of takes off a bit of the game and does leave to be desired.

The Gameplay

the controls are a bit different at first but you will get used to them pretty quickly.

The Visuals
these are the best graphics I have ever seen the smoke the effects they are just awesome!


The Verdict

this is deffinitly the best need for speed I have ever played even though there is no story I'm giving it a good 7/10.

Mario cart 7 review

Mario cart 7 is a 3rd and 1st person racing game where you try to get in 1st place to win the grand prix with lots of awsaume stages and courses there are items you can use to slow down youe oponents. You can play with your friends on single chip or multiple chip you dont all need a chip wich i find amazing. If your wondering why im refering to chip its for the 3ds. The graphics are realy good and with the 3d turned on all the way this game is to die for. With new items than the wii version of mario cart like the blue boost pads wich allow you to fly with a hang glider. The stages are not all new there are some stages just recreated or even taken from earlier versions. The amazing spider-man review

The story 

the story takes place after the movie (so I recomend watching the movie first) as peter parker A.K.A spider-man and his girlfreind gwen stacy are looking around oscorp looking for proof that the lizard experiments are still existent while skulking around accidently release all of the experiments, and the deadly lizard virus...
gameplay

(this game was played with the loghitech dual action controler) the controls are pretty simple if you play with a controler otherwise they are a bit difficult so I decided to do this game with the controler wich suprisingly makes the gameplay a lot more fun!

visuals

this does not really have graphics like assasin's creed but it does have some respectable graphics though it does have a bit to desire.

The verdict

overall this is a great game and I recomend it highly to spiderman fans  I'm giving it an 8/10

Super smash bros brawl review

Super smash bros brawl is a game where you can chose charecters to fight with your friends with a story mode. There is also training room and mini games. Theres not much else to talk aboult exept that its a wii game and xbox game. Short review i know. Super smash bros brawl est un jeux ou to peux choisir des charecteres de autres jeux pour combatre tes ami il y a aussi un mode istoire. Il y a une sale d'entrainement et des mini jeux. Il y a pas grand autre chose a parlé au sujet de se jeux sauf que ses pour la wii et la xbox. Courte revue je sais. Laise un comentaires si tu as aimé cette revue et laise un comentaire de quel jeux qu'on devrai revoire aussi se jeux a été nomé A pour adolécent. Mon score
